How to Make Rose Water
As told to me by the spirit of Maime Robertson

Montgomery County, Maryland
Let roses bloom completely. When they have reached their full bloom, pull the leaves off and put them in cool water.
Bring water to a slow boil.
Boil for 15 minutes and cover the top to capture the steam.
Strain out rose leaves and throw away.
Drink as tea, or cool as desired for other uses.
Uses (per Maime):
As a tea for arthritis and stomach aches
To put in pastries as a flavoring
To rinse clothes in it
Keeps aphids away in flower beds
