Keeping that smile on her face not feeling it at all, she kept looking out the window, giving a good show. Then turned back and looked at her hands. “I don’t like this one bit. These people are crazy.”

“Or very committed to their beliefs April. You don’t have to be crazy to have belief.”

“Whatever, I don’t like it.” And continued the rest of the journey in silence. Pulling up outside her house. “This place still secure?”

“I’ll check when we go in. You act loved up, get a drink and start some dinner and play along. Got it?” She gave a nod. “Then smile, you are home with your Mate. Laugh. Now.”

She did and opened the door stepping out.

Hunt with her escorting her back into the house. Chatting about rubbish, she did as he asked, went to the fridge pouring two drinks and started pulling items out for dinner, playing up her day, avoiding the message and the gun range. Until he came back, joining in the conversation showing her the scanner. Bugs in every room. Including her bedroom. She stared at it open mouthed. Only the en-suite bathroom didn’t have one. Probably because it was connected to her bedroom. The one in there picking everything up. She wrote on her PID and showed him.

He shook his head. Grabbing a stool she pulled it over and sat down taking a large gulp of her drink.

They’d bugged her house…. It was too much…

Then wrote again not taking her eyes off it.

I can’t keep doing…. That…. just so they hear us.

This time he showed her his PID. Then do it because we enjoy it.
