STARTING POSITION: Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Bend your knees and lower your hips as if you were going to sit In a low chair. Keep your torso long and wide and your shoulders back.

1 Keeping this squat position the entire time, take a small step forward with your right foot, making sure that your whole foot takes off and lands fully and stays beneath your torso.

2 Take a step with your left foot, again lifting the whole foot.

BACKWARD DUCK WALK VARIATION:

Instead of moving forward, take small steps backward. The steps are even shorter for this style.
