Yet still I went back the next day! Overnight, three-and-a-half words replayed in my mind - words he had whispered as I was leaving, “You're my lifeline, Red Riding Hood.”

My subconscious knew that I shouldn’t go back, but those three-and-a-half words were like a lasso, ready to rope me in. How could I leave him? About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Mr Wolf was a wolf. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that was obsessed with bat-and-ball games. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in need of his cock.

I was tormented by the words his mother had said, by the notion that there had been others. However, today I had a plan that couldn’t fail. I knew exactly how I would get him to be the wolf I needed him to be.

I arrived at the impeccable clearing wearing my red cloak. “Good afternoon!” I said with my best seductive smile.

There he was, my very own wolf flavour stick of rock. My own personal brand of cocaine. He grunted internally. I saw a wicked grin that sent waves of excitement rippling through every single vertebrae in my body - oh what a tremor!

However, just as I was about to exact my plan, my phone began to ring. I ignored it at first. How dare somebody try and steal a moment of my time with my love, my wolf?

“Who is it?” asked Mr Wolf.

I shrugged.

“Well aren’t you going to see who it is?”

Reluctantly, I took my phone from the pocket of my cloak. Why hadn’t I put it on silent or, better still, turned it off? I cherished my time with Mr Wolf more than life itself. I did not welcome intrusions!

“Who is it?” demanded masterful Mr Wolf.

“It’s… it’s the woodcutter!” I stuttered.

“The woodcutter?” he growled, sounding disarmed. Then, angrily he added, “Send him away. Tell him not to come near you again.”

Was I hearing correctly? Was Mr Wolf jealous? Well, his commanding nature just drove me wild! How could I not yield to his power? I answered the phone. “Hello.”

“Tell him you never want to see him again.”

Could I do that? Could I break a heart for Mr Wolf? Could I be rude to such a kind man? I already knew the answer - I’d do anything for Mr Wolf. I found his jealousy invigorating. It showed that he cared.

“I’m sorry…” I stuttered, “... I don’t want to see you again.”

For a moment, I felt bad about how I was treating the woodcutter, but then when I saw Mr Wolf’s deep eyes cutting into me, I knew I’d done the right thing. My life was all about me and the wolf now - everybody else was just garnishing.

“Now hang up the phone,” he ordered.

I did what I was told like the good, submissive girl that I was.

“Thank you. I can’t risk having any woodcutters around. They have a reputation you know, for harming wolves.”

“Gosh!” I was shocked.
