Cream pies are my favorite. I just can’t get enough of a rich, custardy filling in a flaky pastry crust. Bananas give this one plenty of flavor without making it too sweet. Sometimes I’ll add a layer of caramel sauce or chocolate ganache on top of the crust for a sweet surprise.
