Deleting Photos

When you spot a clunker during your picture review, you can erase it in a few ways, as outlined in the next three sections.

Erasing single images

To delete photos one at a time, display the photo (in single image view) or select it (in Index view). Then press the Erase button. The words Cancel and Erase appear at the bottom of the screen, as shown in Figure 5-26. To zap that photo into digital oblivion, either tap Erase or use the Multi-controller or Quick Control dial to highlight it and then press the Set button.
