It’s NOT Your Body’s Fault

One thing I’ve found over the years is that women tend to play victim to their bodies and life circumstances. I’ve already taught you why you’ve gained fat and what it takes to burn it. Just so I can clear these thoughts from your mind, know this: it’s not your thyroid, a fat gene, slow metabolism, starvation mode (which is pure bullshit), because you’re not eating frequently (5-6 times a day), or because of the air, wind, water, or any other bullshit excuse you keep lying to yourself about.

You haven’t gotten the body because you haven’t done what it takes. It’s from one simple thing, and one simple thing only: No FUCKING CALORIE DEFICIT! No deficit, no loss, period! Start WEIGHING your portions, tracking your intake on MyFitnessPal, and you will quickly see that you have been eating like Miss Piggy your whole life. You’ll quickly see that what you thought was 4 ounces of chicken was actually 12 ounces. You’ll quickly see what you thought was 1 cup was actually 1.75 cups.

The ONLY way the human body will burn fat is if you create a calorie deficit and FORCE it to dig into fat. The ONLY way to know where your calories/macros are each day is by weighing and tracking your food, so you know how much you’ve had and when you are DONE.

There are over seven billion people on this planet. Our bodies all function the same, some to greater degrees than others, but we’re basically all the same. You overeat, you get fat. You create a deficit, you lose 100% of the time, so don’t give me any bullshit excuse. If you were doing it right, you’d be losing.

Show me one chick who says she can’t lose weight, and I’ll show you a closet piggy who binges when no one is looking, someone who cheats constantly, doesn’t weigh portions, doesn’t track food, who has the sugary drinks, more than likely doesn’t work out, and when she does, works out like a sissy. Take this same chick, give her this book, and I GUARANFUCKINGTEE she loses every ounce of body fat she chooses! I am teaching you how to do it the smartest, fastest, healthiest way. It’s the right way!

The reason I’m talking about this is because I have had this talk with literally 100% of my clients. In the beginning, the ones who aren’t losing as fast or at all, they ALL play a victim and act like they are doing everything right, yet their body just isn’t responding. BULLSHIT! It’s not your body, it’s YOU. You are overeating.

I used to have long conversations explaining all of this that often used to turn into long days of arguing and debates that consumed a shitload of my time for each person. I’ve since discovered a couple of articles that say literally this exact thing, only written by other famous fitness pros, with the science attached. I just forward them the link and tell them, “Read this.
