Dexter leaves my apartment, doesn't even let me put my bow-tie on, then Candy dilly-dally's behind us.

“Come on Candy, come on” Dexter insists, rudely racing past Mrs Pufflewoo on her doorstep.

“I'm coming Duster, I'm coming. My body bloody aches” she almost cries out behind us, limping like a duck with a sore webbed foot.

“See Marley, you fucking Knobhead! You and your Donkey Dick did this to her” he grunts at me.

Yeah, like any of this is my fault. I didn't want to visit a bar with you last night, I didn't want to pay for taxi rides to nowhere and I certainly didn't call Candy last night either!

“Dexter, I'm already seriously late for work today, so you and Candy can do this yourselves” I tell him, deciding I've had enough.

I know work will be okay without me for a few more hours; especially when Sally's there looking after the place, but I also know that if I go anywhere with these two right now, something else ludicrous is going to happen and this too, will end up being my fault.

“Marley, you've got to come. It's a matter of life or death” he then insists again.

He's serious, isn't he? This is a real problem, isn't it? One question though Dexter, what is the sodding problem?
