Barbell Curls:

These are really just for fun and because if I don’t put them in the program you’ll probably do them anyway. Be sure to control the eccentric (lowering) section of the curl. Increase the weight every few weeks.

Obviously stick with the straight bar, EZ bars don’t provide as strong a contraction in the entire arm and they are just too………easy.

Grip the bar in a wider than shoulder width grip.

Try to keep the elbows tucked in, and tighten the glutes and grip like you’re holding onto your wallet.Curl the bar up without swinging or using your back. If you can’t, reduce the weight or try standing against a wall while performing this exercise.
