AM I GOING TO HAVE to make the first move? Serena thought to herself.

She couldn’t believe that she had let herself cry in front of Freddie. She hated feeling weak and vulnerable, but there was something about the strength in his arms, the way his body fit with hers, that felt like a cocoon. He wasn’t judging her, he understood her.
