Using Ab Revolution for Chin-ups and Pull-ups

Regardless of hand position (facing front or back), don’t allow your lower back to increase in arch as you pull up and lower. Instead, use abdominal muscles to reduce lumbar curve to neutral.

Retrain the bad habit of practicing poor position of bent hip, ribs lifted, and swayback. Holding straight position increases abdominal muscle use while you practice their function of holding the spine in healthy position. Keep body straight while raising and lowering unless you are practicing for a specific need, for example, climbing or gymnastic moves.
