As the number of fixing slots is limited making it difficult to get the clamping screw in precisely the best place in some cases, additional flexibility is achieved by a second hole in the packing pieces and height increasing bushes. This set up is seen in SK 3. This though results in the clamping screw being nearer the packing than the workpiece, which is not ideal. The set up should therefor only be used where that in SK 1 is not possible, preferably then only as a back up where some clamps as per SK 1 are also being used. Photo 2 shows a typical application where the parts are being used on the faceplate.
