Ball Gymnastics
Each goalkeeper has a ball. With legs spread slightly more than shoulder-width, each goalkeeper should try to catch the ball between her legs with one hand behind her legs and one hand in front of her legs. Have the keeper perform one set of 20 repetitions for each exercise.
• For the first set, have her bounce the ball between her legs and then quickly switch her hands to catch the ball between bounces (see Figure 27-4).
• For the second set challenge her not to let the ball hit the ground as she quickly switches her hands from front to back to catch the ball
