2 ounces pineapple juice (freshly squeezed or name brand)
11⁄2 ounces tequila
1 ounce Cointreau
1⁄2 cup ripe crushed pineapple (best if fresh, not canned)
splash of lemon juice
splash of simple syrup
pineapple chunks, for garnish
Combine the ingredients in a blender with 1⁄2 cup ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass. Garnish with a pineapple chunks.

For a fruity, frosty, banana-flavored version, add the following:
3⁄4 ounce pineapple juice, 3⁄4 ounce orange juice, 1⁄2 ounce banana liqueur, and 1⁄2 banana.
