NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS CAN COMPENSATE FOR LACK OF NATURAL NUTRIENTS
No supplement can ever be used as a replacement for actual diet. It can only be used as a substitute. But with the long busy schedules people are opting for shortcuts and quick fix methods everywhere. And the fitness products companies found this as an opportunity to increase their fortunes, started to advertise and promote that their supplements can be used to replace the diet. The truth is that no supplements can ever replace natural diet. They can only aid the natural diet in getting the better results. So never try to compensate your natural diet with the supplements. For example, prefer multi vitamin diet instead of multi vitamin capsules.
YOGA IS ONLY FOR WOMEN
Since the Vedic times, YOGA is extensively practiced by both men and women. There are many famous male yoga practitioners and also who tried to take it to the world stage. One of the famous people Swami Vivekananda is a religious practitioner of yoga. Yoga is not a gender oriented workout. It is for anybody who wants to tone their bodies without lifting weights and also who wants to perform a series of rhythmic movements and also develop mental peace. Yoga in its basic sense is a form of exercise but if we dig deeper it is spiritual in nature and has many benefits apart from just physical fitness. There are different kinds of Yoga like Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and so on. Each concentrates on certain aspects of Yoga. For example, Kundalini Yoga works on your chakras and tries to awaken your Kundalini energy. It is such a diverse and significant topic that its scope is out of this book. In future if everything goes well, I am planning to write a comprehensive book on Yoga for all levels of practitioners. Personally, 2 days in a week my work outs are entirely based on Yoga and every morning I do Surya Namaskar (sun salutation, a series of 12 movements which activates every muscle group in the body). So never assume that yoga is only for women. YOGA is universal.
SALT IS ABSOLUTELY BAD FOR HEALTH
Salts are necessary for maintaining blood pressure. For example if salt intake is very low your blood pressure is lowered. The sodium content in the salt is useful like every other mineral. If you can, prefer rock salt over refined white color salt as the latter has some disadvantages over the former one. As I always say, everything in moderation.
LIGHT OR NO BREAKFAST IS GREAT
COMPLETE breakfast is mandatory for everyone since morning is the time where you are most active and also to feel fresh your brain should be active. A complete breakfast makes you feel full and keeps you active all day long. So never skip your breakfast from now. If you have some urgent meeting in the morning, then wake up 10 minutes earlier and then snack up. After all, health is wealth right? And skipping breakfast doesnât help you in performing better at the meeting either.
