As soon as I entered my room, I went into the bathroom and shut the door. I stripped off my clothes, then stuck my head back out.

“Hey, Levi would you find me a swimsuit? I need to swim badly.”

“As long as you tell me what happened,” he yelled back.

“Will do as soon as I finish decontaminating myself. That guy was a creepizoid.” I shut the door and jumped in the shower.

After scrubbing every inch of my body multiple times, I finally got out. Levi knocked on the door.

“Here. It was all I could get in your size. It’s on the doorknob,” he yelled through the door.

I was almost afraid to look, but beggars couldn’t be choosers and all that. A frown crossed my face as I noticed it was a string bikini. The only thing it had going for it was the blue color. It would match my eyes, I thought. There was nothing I could do about it. That was all I had and swimming would get rid of my anxiety. The situation was stressing me out. With a towel wrapped around me, I left the bathroom.

“So, what happened,” Levi asked, clicking off the television.

“Nothing much. The detective on the case is not only a moron, but a major creep. He hit on me and that’s about it.”

“Sounds stupid to me. What about the case?” He laughed.

“Nothing new on that end. I think we are going to have to figure this one out on our own. Well, with Aiden and Bryce’s help this time.”

“We are going to work with them?” I resented his look of surprise.

“Of course. That is if Aiden calms his ass down. There is something eating at him. It beats me what it is. Bryce won’t tell me a thing either. It’s rather frustrating.”

“I bet I could guess,” Levi mumbled.

“Oh? Do share,” I demanded.

“If you haven’t figured it out yet, then I won’t be the one to inform you.” He smirked.

I sent him a glare and prepared to leave. “I’m off since you aren’t being helpful. We have to wait until morning to speak to the chief.”

“I’ll go see what the other two are doing then,” Levi walked out with me. I left him at the other room’s door.

The sun was just beginning to go down as I got to the pool area. No one was about, just as I preferred. I threw the towel aside, kicked off my flip flops and dove into the deep end. It felt amazing just to be in the water. It cleared my head. I glided through the water, letting all the tension leave my body.

That was until someone disturbed my happy place. I felt a ripple as someone entered the pool. When I looked, it was Aiden. I took a moment to savor the sight of his body. Damn, he was built. Too bad he was a commitment kind of guy. I didn’t mess with those types. Too much trouble. I came to a stop near him. The water came up to about my chest.
