Template Transfer and Felt Fabric Instructions

1. Transfer the dinosaur template (#1) onto the mint felt fabric. Next, secure the mint felt body to the hoop fabric with three or four straight pins. Stitch the dinosaur body into place, with three strands of the mint embroidery floss, using a running stitch.

2. Transfer the dinosaur scale templates (#2 through #7) onto the dark green felt fabric. Transfer one scale at a time, starting with #2 at the top and working your way down the dinosaur’s back and tail. Pin each scale into place before transferring the next scale, which will help you to lay the scales in the correct order on the dinosaur’s back. Use two strands of the dark fern green embroidery floss to secure each scale into place with a running stitch.
