There was a second when he didn’t move…where the room trembled in silence after my plea. Then in an instant, Elithien let out a soft, throaty chuckle behind me and Justice broke rank, practically leaping across the room.

Hunger glinted like the honed edge of a sword as he stopped in front of me and stared into my eyes. “Say it, woman. Tell me what the fuck you want from me.”

“I want you on your knees.” The words were barely more than a sigh.

There was a twitch at the corners of his lips. “Are you sure? You don’t sound convinced.”

My arms trembled, muscles aching. I squirmed against the bindings…until Elithien’s voice slipped into my head. Don’t fight against them…they aren’t where you need to find freedom. Search for it, Ruth. It’s inside.

I lifted my head, meeting Justice’s gaze once more, and forced the strength into my voice. “Yes, yes, I’m sure.”

He slowly sank in front of me until his knees hit the floor. Jesus, the sight of him yielding like he was the one lashed…and I held the rope in the palm of my hand. Heat flared through me, catching my breath.

“Tell him,” Elithien whispered.

“My pants,” I ordered in a rush. “Take them off. I want you to kiss me…I want to feel your lips on me…and your fangs.”

A primal growl slipped from Justice. His body trembled, but his hands stayed by his sides as his shoulders rose and fell with a long, deep breath. He fought himself, fought to take it slow as he lifted those big hands to my body and slid them along the outside of my thighs.

I shuddered, aching and needing. God, did I really have this giant at my whim? He could kill me in the blink of an eye…hurt me before I had a chance to draw breath and here he was…waiting for me to tell him what to do. “My jeans, take them off.”

His hands moved higher, sliding under the edge of my knitted sweater, and worked the button free. One slow slide of the zipper, and he dragged my pants free, leaving my panties. I lifted my foot, letting him tug my boot free, then my sock and one leg of my jeans before moving to the other side.

“Kiss me,” I urged, watching as he pushed my discarded clothes aside and stared at my thighs.

He was so gentle, his big thumbs running a line up the middle of each thigh. He moved closer, his hard lips brushing my thighs. I wanted this...wanted it for me. “Slide your finger under the edge of my panties,” I directed.

He followed instructions perfectly, one finger gliding under the string of my black lace bikinis… then lower as he moved further between my thighs.

“Under.” I closed my eyes. “Under more. Touch me.”

Heat rose like an inferno, sweeping me away in the flames. The hotter I burned, the more I liked being at his mercy…until his hands stopped. I opened my eyes. “Don’t stop…please, don’t stop.”

He pulled away and rose from the floor.
