These are the 4 sets of 7 fold judgment recorded in the book of Revelation. I believe these were targeted at Jerusalem and the Temple, and ended with Jerusalem’s destruction. Both the historical information we have seems to correspond with the text, as well as the connection with the covenantal judgment of God as laid out in Leviticus 26.

Putting the pieces together leads me to conclude that these judgments in Revelation are not about a future Armageddon, but are referring to what took place in the first century soon after John’s writing. We therefore do not need to be afraid of some terrifying set of judgments which God will pour out on the whole earth as is taught by many futurist teachers.[133]
