Fisherman’s Rib Reversible Cable Stitch

For double-sided crosses, the full fisherman’s rib can provide excellent results.

Side 1

This is an example of what the fisherman’s rib looks like. You can see three rows of crosses on this one side of the pattern.

Fisherman’s rib and the reversible cable stitch can be knit with either a Passap machine or the Brother Studio silver reed machine with ribber.

The full fisherman’s rib is basically created by inserting one bed while you knit the other and then doing the reverse process when passing through again. You will need to select an odd number of the repeats to be knitted between the crosses.
