Q: I'm finding chord changes to be difficult, and they don't sound smooth. What am I doing wrong?

A: Make sure to keep your hand in a loose fist, curving your fingers and creating space between your hand and the ukulele to avoid barring other chords or notes. Some chords are more difficult to play than others, especially that E chord! Familiarizing yourself and practicing the hand position for various chords will help. Also, practice transitioning between all the different chords you are learning. Hold your ukulele correctly with your thumb on the back of the fretboard.
