Colorado Spruce

The Colorado Spruce tends to have longer needles than the others; the color varies from dark green to blue-green.

Note: White Spruce cones are more cylindrical than the oblong cones of Black and Red Spruces. Also outer ends of scales of White Spruce cones look cut off, those of Black and Red Spruces are more rounded.

Black Spruce cones tend to be the smallest, see lengths shown.

Red Spruce cones are red.
