Work 8 rows in k2 p2 rib. Continue in stocking stitch and work 42 rows.
Work 6 rows in k2 p2 rib.
Cast off.
FRONT
Cast on 50 sts.
Work 8 rows in k2 p2 rib. Continue in stocking stitch and work 42 rows, inserting cable panel in centre of front panel – work 19 sts; set panel 13 sts; work 18 sts (50 sts).
Work 6 rows in k2 p2 rib.
Cast off.
SLEEVES
Work as for pink sweater.
TO MAKE UP SWEATER
Darn in all loose ends. Join front and back panels by a 2.5cm seam at shoulders, using mattress stitch to form slash neck. Attach sleeves.
Knit on RS, purl on WS
Purl on RS, knit on WS
Make bobble (k1, p1, k1, p1, k1) in stitch to make 5 sts from one.
