SANTA: What do you want for Christmas this year young lady?

ME: A fourth series of Hannibal please Santa.

SANTA: [Wipes away tears with his beard] Ahhh, everyone wants that my dear.

ME: And a Hannigram kiss. A proper one. Not a half-assed attempt in front of a blue screen that even got cut from the special edition DVD.

SANTA: [Sobbing freely] I’d give all my elves to Bryan Fuller in return for a proper Hannigram kiss. And the reindeer. And then Mrs Santa too.

ME: A proper one, goddammit Santa. WITH TONGUES.

SANTA: [Now hysterical with grief] Tongues!

Santa and I go to the pub to drown our sorrows. Later on a punch-up is had with the locals who insist that Anthony Hopkins’ portrayal is the definitive one. The police are sent for. Arrests are made. Santa and I go down with our ship and have a drunken yet sentimental rendition of ‘Love Crime’ in the back of the police car.

This is totally going to happen.
