The Spellbinder is one of the greatest threats to the Library of Doom.

He is dangerous, powerful, and very, very slippery. His evil dream is to turn the world into one gigantic book, a book that only he can read and control.

The Smashing Scroll comes from our circulating library – the Convolvus Rooms. Scrolls and books that roll, whirl, or rotate are shelved there.

I was patrolling that section and needed the Scroll. I saw it resting on its shelf and reached for it. My hand passed through it.

It was an illusion! The real one was gone. That’s when I knew the Spellbinder was spinning another twisted scheme.

After the events in this book, the villain escaped, but I returned the scroll to its rightful place.
