Describing how you want to be loved is a powerful skill. Equally important is listening to your partner and demonstrating in practice that you’ve heard what your partner said.

Soon after doing this practice, in your lovemaking you will know how well your partner listened to you.

If your partner really heard what you said and loves you enough to approximate what you asked for, it is much easier for you to really trust your partner and surrender more deeply.

On the other side, it is similar for your partner. Does your partner feel that you heard, that you’re giving what your partner asked for, and that you’re capable of staying centered while giving?
