With larger needle and MC, CO 266 (280, 294) sts. Place marker (pm) and join for working in rnds, being careful not to twist sts. Rnd begs at left side “seam.” Knit 1 rnd and pm after 133 (140, 147) sts to denote other side “seam.” Knit 5 more rnds. Change to smaller needle and work 2 rnds in k1, p1 rib. Change to larger needle and, beg and ending as indicated for your size, work Rows 1 and 2 of Boxes chart. Work Rows 1–36 of Wassily Border chart, then work Rows 1–37 of Body Chart 1, then work Rows 1–52 of Body Chart 2, then rep Rows 1–67 of Body Chart 3 (see page 90) as needed to top of shoulder and at the same time beg armhole shaping when piece measures 15 (16, 17)" (38 [40.5, 43] cm) from top of k1, p1 rib.
