These Levels have nothing to do with age, but they can change over time or given certain circumstances. As I mentioned, the Levels are more a factor of time, lifestyle, and how many products you want to use. It helps to think of them as progressive steps. You can also be a Level 1 for 80 percent of the time, and bump up to a Level 2 for a special occasion. Similarly, a Level 2 might scale down to a Level 1 over the weekend, or go up to a Level 3 for an evening affair. You can build from a Level 1 to a Level 3 without starting off with a bare face.
So think about which Level you are today. It’s a vehicle through which you become your own beauty advocate. You don’t have to limit yourself to that Level forever. But at least be clear about which Level reflects you best going forward. Remember, your Level is defined by your general approach to makeup; it is not an absolute.
