And then I went out to the shed, and I got all Suzanne’s things, which I’d put outside, in the lane, like her piccalilli jar and her French–English, English–French dictionary, and I put them back in the shed, on the shelf. And I wrote Suzanne’s name back on the KEEP OUT! BY ORDER OF ANNA sign on the shed door, so it said ANNA & SUZANNE again. And on the Club Rules and Regulations. And in the Spy Club Notebook. And I got a piece of paper, and a pen, and I put:
