And the Lord answered me 15 [and said: ‘Write down the vision and make it clear] upon the tablets in order that 16 [the one reading it] will run’ (Hab. 2:1–2) [The interpretation of the passa]ge con[cerns 17 ] Col. 71 and God told Habakkuk to write down the things that are to come 2 upon the present generation, but the period to come He did not make known to him. 3 vacat And concerning what the passage says: in order that the one reading it will run (Hab. 2:2d). 4 Its interpretation concerns the Teacher of Righteousness to whom God had made known 5 all the mysteries of the words of his servants, the prophets.
