1 Solid blue is the braided line; the red/white/blue line is the Monel. Bring the Monel up through a bight in the line.

2 Wrap the Monel around the line, keeping the line straight and tight while you make the wraps.

3 Overwrap the Monel around itself past the end of the braided bight.

4 Make a Haywire Twist in the wire to finish off, pulling the wire down tight against the braided bight.

5 Be sure to tightly wrap the last end of the wire against itself to make sure it does not snag. Use Pliobond if necessary to hold everything in place and create a smooth, snag-free profile to bend.
