Weak Flame

A weak or small flame represents your magic working really hard to get through a tough block. That block may be someone working against you, or it may be your own junk getting in your way. A slightly smaller than average flame tells you that this spell will need a lot of hard work to manifest. If your candle has a very small flame, check to make sure you didn't trim it too short. If you did, pour some molten wax out, making the wick longer. (You may need some candle surgery here.) Then do some spiritual cleansing work while the candle is burning. Use the size of the flame as a barometer for the effectiveness of your spiritual cleansing. If the flame never gets larger or goes back to being small, extinguish the candle and investigate a different direction to attaining your magical goal. If you keep trying to dig the wick out, you will just end up breaking it off—and a wickless candle is just useless!
