4. Continue knotting the strands as you add in more hair, just as when you make a French braid.
5. Repeat the knotting until the entire length is used up. Fasten with an elastic. Temporarily pin the braid on top of the head.
6. Separate another section of the lower hair. This section should make up half of the hair. Repeat the technique described in steps 3 to 5.
7. Now braid the lower section in the same way as described in steps 3 to 5.
8. Braid the opposite side. Divide the hair into two equal sections, upper and lower. Fasten the lower section temporarily with an elastic. Follow steps 3 to 5. Braid diagonally upward to achieve the right effect. Fasten with an elastic.
