Address oral sensory problems. If your child has strong oral sensory aversions and is fixated on certain foods and textures, he may refuse to eat many of the gluten-free and casein-free alternatives, no matter what you do. Such kids need a feeding occupational therapist to help them overcome their aversions (see page 148).
