The Fill Effect

The Fill effect might be more accurately named the Mask Fill and Feather effect. It allows you to fill an individual mask with a solid color. It also allows you to apply Horizontal and Vertical Feather to blend the Fill effect color with the edges of the original color. Fig. 9.28 shows the Fill comp from the Fill.aep project you'll find in the Chapter 9 folder of the exercise files, if you'd like to go along with me here. This comp contains a single solid layer, with many elliptical masks on it.
