What is one of the most important ways to make sure you are consistent with your purpose, which also works for waking up early, or when it comes to any other habit? Having a wake-up partner!
Surely you know the saying: ‘Two is better than one.’
Why does it work? Because it addresses the main obstacle when it comes to adopting a new habit, inconsistency.
That is, today I will do what I set out to do…tomorrow I won’t, I’ll see if I’ll feel like it two days from now, so on and so forth.
When you have a trustworthy partner, each of you can support each other during difficult times.
Best-case scenario, both people are motivated.
Less-happy scenario, one person is motivated and the other one is fighting a lack of motivation. At that point, the unmotivated person can find support in his partner and thus get through his difficult time.
In another, almost non-existent scenario, both people are unmotivated, you both realize this simultaneously and all it takes is just one day for you to start supporting one another and getting back to your good habits.
The method I’m talking about right now has been tested and retested on dozens of my coaching clients, and I can guarantee you that a wake-up partner will dramatically increase your odds of implementing this habit much more easily.
