Existing trees and boulders have been incorporated into the design of several parts of the garden.

On a sunnier adjacent slope where a Buddhist shrine stands, colourful ground covers and such flowering trees and shrubs as Plumeria, Delonix regia (Flame tree), Bixa orellana (Lipstick tree), Hibiscus, Tecoma stans (Yellow Bells) and Mussaenda have been added to the Cashew Nut trees and Coconut palms already growing there, while yet another area is largely devoted to assorted Heliconias. Wild Ficus trees wrap their roots picturesquely around a huge boulder along a flight of steps near a gallery displaying some of the owners sculptures, and Pandanus with aerial roots shelter a terrace near the salt-water swimming pool built amid the rocks at the lower level.

The sea is visible from almost every point in this garden of changing vistas, first glimpsed as a flash of blue through trees from the entrance, finally as a panorama from any of the terraces below the loggia.
