If you would like Tyson to control the center of your plate tonight, here’s a recipe from their 1984 cookbook entitled Chicken Just for You!
CHICKEN CELESTE
6 fresh Tyson Breast or Thigh Steaks
¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon paprika
J teaspoon pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped (¼ cup)
2 tablespoons cooking oil
½ cup dairy sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 tablespoons water
Snipped parsley
Combine flour, salt, paprika, and pepper. Rinse steaks; pat dry. Coat steaks with flour mixture. In a large skillet cook steaks and onion in hot oil over medium heat about 15 minutes or just till tender, turning once. Transfer to a warm serving platter; keep warm. Drain fat from skillet.
In a bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise or salad dressing, sherry, and water; stir till smooth. Add to the skillet and heat over low heat; do not boil. Pour over steaks; sprinkle with parsley. Makes 6 servings.
