Chapter 6: Ways to Intensify Pleasure Through Your Senses
Intensifying pleasure in increasing sexual energy is a big part of tantric practices. Learning how to do these things simply takes a bit of time in research. there are a variety of different things you can do to ensure the level of pleasure that everyone is experiencing as better than they have ever had in the past. In this chapter, we are going to look at a plethora of different ways to heighten the level of pleasure that everyone experiences. one of the key components to this is arousing all of our senses so that we can be fully present in the moment and aware of what is happening between our partner and us.
We are going to start off by discussing the importance of bringing all of your senses into play. Each one of our senses can play a significant role in helping us become aroused and in finding pleasure during sexual situations. Without the ability to see, hear, smell, touch, and taste, the act of intimacy would be pretty boring. Imagine a world where one of these things was being inhibited. Many people do not take the time to make sure that each of our senses is being tantalized. when you do find different ways to integrate all of your senses, the intensity of pleasure that you will experience will be unparalleled.
As we have discussed, your level of awareness and your presence at the moment plays uh critical role in tantric practices. Naturally, you are going to want to utilize all of your senses during these practices. So, learning about each one and the different ways that you can utilize them will ensure that you are getting the most out of all of your sexual situations.
Our ability to see can be helpful, but it can also be a hindrance during intimate moments. When our eyes are open, it is much easier for us to lose focus. Losing focus and shifting your gaze around your location can be very distracting and influence your tantric experience in a negative way. However, if you have worked on eye contact with your partner, then it should be pretty easy to focus your gaze on them.
Using your vision to look into your partner is always going to be helpful. As noted, it helps to create the deepest connection you can experience. this is a connection not only to your partner but also to yourself, the energy all around you, and the universe. Maintaining eye contact during sexual situations may be difficult, so closing your eyes from time to time is completely acceptable. however, working on eye contact is advantageous for everyone involved.
If you do find that there are times that your eyes are closed, it is completely acceptable. you can utilize this time. when you're unable to see, the other senses will be heightened. This can make things more erotic and more sexually gratifying. So, alternating moments where your eyes are open and when they're closed can help make all things of a sexual nature better.
