The Adverb has the power of Phrasing. Sometimes an adverb needs to be more than a single word to properly do its job. This is when the Adverb uses the power of Phrasing.

This power allows the adverb to stretch out into being several words that act as a single unit within a sentence. This group of words is called a phrase, or in this case, an adverbial phrase.

It’s time to join forces with a heavy-duty connection. He’s the Conjunction, and as a member of the Amazing Eight, he has the power to create strong connections, or junctions, between words, phrases, and clauses.

Conjunctions are linking words, like or, but, and so, which can be used to make a connection between words, phrases, and clauses. Words, phrases, and clauses often need to join together in many ways and for many different reasons. But whatever the reason for their union, the Conjunction has the power to link them together.

The Conjunction has three different superpowers, and these three powers help him to create three different types of connections. These powers are: Coordination, Correlation, and Subordination.

As you might expect, citizen, each of the Conjunction’s connective powers work in a different way, but there is one thing about them you can be sure is always the same — they’re all as strong as steel.
