Table Decorations

Table decorations can be made using many of the same materials as wreaths, but the range of designs can be much broader. Fill any suitable decorative container with pots of several small succulents, then cover the spaces between them with Spanish moss, reindeer moss, or similar items. Or, fill a decorative cachepot with dampened sphagnum moss, add several succulents, and mulch the top with pebbles. Table decorations can include cut flowers, evergreen branches, fruits, vegetables, or other materials with a short life span. You may want to incorporate a block of florist foam into the design if you use cut flowers, as the sphagnum may not provide adequate moisture to keep them looking fresh.
