Chocolate Crackle Cookies

The crazy paving effect of these cookies is made by rolling the dough in icing sugar before baking; as it rises, the sugary crust reveals the soft chocolate interior beneath. So scrummy!

MAKES 18–20

175g (6oz) dark chocolate (60% cocoa solids)

4 tbsp Stork® spread

2 eggs, beaten

150g (5oz) caster sugar

175g (6oz) plain flour

½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

40g (1½oz) icing sugar, plus extra for dusting
