2. Press the seam allowance open. Trim the seam allowance at both of the short edges and the pointed edge to ¼˝. Snip the corners.

3. Turn the tab right side out, and press. Topstitch around the sewn edges, leaving the gap in the straight edge open. Transfer the buttonhole mark from the template to the fabric tab. Machine stitch the buttonhole, and cut.

ZIPPER STRIP

1. To make the zipper tabs, fold both of the short edges on each tab to the wrong side by ½˝, and press. Repeat on all 4 tabs.

2. Set 2 zipper tabs aside for the center zipper tabs.

3. Fold both of the remaining tabs in half to measure 1˝ square, and press. These will be the end zipper tabs.
