47.Using the 159-inch (404-cm) cord from the previous step, measure 11 inches (28 cm) over and attach it with a continuous lark’s head knot to the middle edge of the next floral circle, in between 2 petals. Repeat this step 9 more times so your cord goes around the diameter of the rug. Your last continuous lark’s head knot will be attached in between the same petals at the first one in the previous step.
48.Tie the two tails from the continuous lark’s head knots together with a reef knot and sew the ends into the back of the second layer floral circles. Trim and add a dab of glue to the ends.
