YOKE

The Jacket is knit in one piece from the neck down.

With circular needle, CO 2 sts, pm, CO 10 (10, 12, 14) sts, pm, CO 14 (14, 19, 23) sts, pm, CO 10 (10, 12, 14) sts, pm, CO 2 sts — 38 (38, 47, 55) sts.

ROW 1 (RS): Kfb twice, sm, kfb, *knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, kfb; rep from * twice, kfb in last st — 48 (48, 57, 65) sts.

ROW 2 (WS): Purl.

ROW 3: K1, m1, *knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, kfb; rep from * 3 times, knit to last st, m1, k1 — 58 (58, 67, 75) sts.

ROW 4: Purl.

ROW 5: *Knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, kfb; rep from * 3 times, knit to end — 66 (66, 75, 83) sts.

ROW 6: Purl.

SIZES 12 AND 24 MOS:

Rep Rows 3–6 4 times more, until there are 36 sts between the markers — 138 sts.

SIZE 3–4:

Rep Rows 3–6 2 times more, then Rows 3–4 3 times more — 141 sts.

SIZE 5–6:

Rep Rows 3–6 2 times more, then Rows 3–4 5 times more — 169 sts.

ALL SIZES

NEXT ROW (RS): *Knit to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, kfb; rep from * 3 times, knit to end — 146 (146, 149, 177) sts.

NEXT ROW (WS): K4, purl to last 4 sts, k4.

Rep last 2 rows 3 (5, 6, 5) times more — 153 (176, 197, 217) sts.

DIVIDE SLEEVES FROM BODY

NEXT ROW (RS): Knit to first marker, remove marker, k1, place all rem sts to second marker on a piece of scrap yarn, remove second marker, CO 2 onto tip of right needle, pm, CO 2. Knit to third marker, remove marker, k1, place all rem sts to fourth marker on a piece of scrap yarn, remove fourth marker, CO 2, pm, CO 2. Knit to end. There are 89 (108, 113, 125) sts on the needle.

Note: The very first st of each Sleeve is knit with the Body of the Sweater and the rest of the sts become the Sleeve. That keeps the raglan line with the Body, instead of pulling it in with the Sleeve.

BODY

NEXT ROW AND ALL WS ROWS: K4, purl to last 4 sts, k4.

NEXT ROW (RS): Knit to 1 st before marker, m1, k1, sm, k1, m1, k20 (24, 26, 29), m1, pm, k3, pm, m1, knit to 1 st before marker, m1, k1, sm, k1, m1, knit to end.
