But we didn't have no idea what we was up against.

Tully and Old Timer looking this way and that, nervous as pigs in a slaughterhouse line.

A Shadow LEAPS.

It hits Tully, knocking him off the horse.

Old Timer wheels to follow the action. He's drawn his gun.

OLD TIMER (CONT'D)

Tully! Tully!

Tully's boots being pulled into the thicket. That's all we see of him, but we can hear him yelling.

TULLY (O.S.)

Help me! God, help me!
