1 Make a paper template of the size of the bag (see page 116). Pin this onto the felt and mark around the template with a fabric pencil. Cut out two pieces of felt, including the centre piece that forms the handle so you have a front and back panel.
2 Pin cream lace around the outer edge of one of the felt pieces, and then sew in place.
