Sew rectangles to both sides of paper-pieced block.
Steam press the fusible fleece to the back of the front unit. Be cautious with the ironing, as the fusible fleece is larger than the front unit and will be trimmed later.
Pin the Fabric D 18˝ square to the back of the fusible fleece.
Quilt as desired. Note: Quilting is always recommended over any paper-pieced image so none of the pieces will distort when laundering.
Trim the front unit to 17½˝ × 15½˝.
Add any necessary buttons.
ADD THE TOP BANDS
On the wrong side of each Fabric A 3¾˝ × 17½˝ strip, steam press the fusible interfacing strip, aligning it to a long edge.
Press the non-interfaced edge under ¼˝ on both bands.
