Fabric Requirements

□ ⅝ yd. (62.5cm) blue background for sky, boat blocks, and ruler

□ 1 fat quarter (45.5 x 56cm) fabric for rocks

□ 1 fat quarter (45.5 x 56cm) fabric for sand

□ 1 fat quarter (45.5 x 56cm) fabric for grass

□ 6–7 fat quarters (45.5 x 56cm) light to medium values of aqua for wave block, boat blocks, fish background, ball, and pail.

□ Scraps or ⅛ yd. (12.5cm) for all of the following fabrics:

Solids: Red, white, blue, yellow, green, and orange

Prints: Yellow/orange (sun), batik and lavender (fish), novelty print (pail)

□ Embroidery Floss DMC Red #321, Yellow #973, Orange #947, Green #700, and Blue #798

□ 1 yd. (100cm) medium- weight, no-iron interfacing for appliqué and pockets

□ Scraps for keepsake pockets (optional)

□ Grosgrain ribbon for keepsake pockets (optional)

□ 3½” x 3½” (9 x 9cm) clear vinyl squares for picture pocket (optional)

□ Backing, binding, and batting
