12. Roll two long black shoulder straps and put them in place.

13. Cover the gorgon’s body with a black dress as shown. There might be arguments as to what is the most appropriate color for her dress, but black is always fashionable—even in the mythical dress code. Once the gorgon is dressed, lower the hands and place them in whatever gesture you choose.

14. Add two different-sized white eyeballs and place a green droplet between the eyes to make the nose.

15. Use the taper-point clay shaper to scratch the inside of the gorgon’s nostril.
